Biographical Information:

Allen was born in Southport, NC on the 13th of February, 1960. He was a commercial fisherman and was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church in Supply NC. Allen started fishing as a teenager and worked in the Sound quite a bit. He started his career as a deck hand with Junior Fulford out of Holden Beach and spent years between the Sound and Brunswick, Georgia. His days in the Keys were in younger years, and Texas was just for opening then back to the East Coast. He was a great father, fierce friend and accomplished lifelong fisherman working the waters from North Carolina to Texas. The expression "salty" most accurately describes Allen. Though he has gone now to be with his Savior, he will always be remembered here by those whose lives he touched. God speed, Captain.
